My name is Chelsea! I was born and raised in a small town in South Carolina, and I am currently living in a less small town in Georgia. I love sweet tea and kids and nature and Jesus! I have been passionate about missions since middle school, and my dream of going on a long-term mission trip came true last year!!!

I left for the World Race in August 2017 and returned back to the states in June 2018. I worked alongside missionaries in 11 different countries in Central America, West Africa, and Asia. What a year it was! I went to help change the lives of other people, and in the process my life was completely changed! God showed me that He created me exactly the way He wanted me to be and that He has a purpose for my caring, (sometimes) quiet, introverted personality. 

Towards the end of the Race, God revealed my next step: Center for Global Action (CGA). CGA is a discipleship program where I will continue learning about my identity, as well as how to best lead myself and others. The 5-month program begins in January, and during that time I will continue living in Georgia. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue learning from the staff at Adventures in Missions!

My mission for the year: continue following so closely behind Jesus that I am covered in the dust His feet kick up!
